Emraan Hashmi has said that working on his first international project has been an "exciting" venture.
The actor stated that he is now waiting to see how audiences gauge his upcoming project with Oscar-winning director Danis Tanovic.
"I am extremely happy that I could do this high concept film with a very strong connect to the larger world audience," he said.
"Working with someone like Danis on my first international venture has been very exciting and now I have my fingers crossed on how the film will be received."
The movie revolves around the story of salesman Ayan, played by Hashmi, who uncovers an illegal racket in the sales of baby milk formula.
Filmmaker Tanovic is reported to have been working on the concept of the film for almost ten years.
Tigers premieres at Scotiabank Theatre, Toronto on September 8.
