They flew him to Canada where he was undergoing treatment. Now that his treatment is complete and he is healthy, he has started going to school. The actor is evidently happy and his close sources reveal that, he is extremely happy to see his son playing around, going to school and making new friends.
Well, obstacles come through everyone's life, but the way Emraan has stood through this, not giving up and fighting, he has set an example for a lot of us who need to pull up strength in such difficult times.
