Sleepless nights for Emraan

Emraan Hashmi confirmed that his preparation for his role as former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in an upcoming biopic was giving him "Sleepless nights".

Emraan Hashmi after wooing audience with baddie lover boy image is all set to step into real life portrayal of former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. Director Anthony D'Souza is directing the biopic.

Emraan is training hard for the biopic and during such a rehearsal cramped a muscle in his wrist and had to practice with a painful swelling on his wrists. Now the Bollywood serial kisser actor will learn Tamil, for the role.
No wonder he’s been having sleepless nights.

According to a report, he has been training hard under Azharuddin and has also been trying to get a deeper insight into the cricketer’s life. However, in certain portions of the film, Emraan will be required to speak in Tamil. And since he is not familiar with the language, he will have to take classes.

"Yes, I’m learning to speak in Tamil for the role as it is necessary. It will be a course of eight weeks and I’m looking forward to learning a new language." confirms Emraan about language classes.

So he will focus on his diction and pronunciation. That is pretty impressive.
Apart from Emraan Hashmi, reports are that Prachi Desai has been signed to play the role of Azhar's first wife Naureen.
