Emraan Hashmi will be seen playing the role of Mohd Azharuddin in the biopic of the cricketer. Rajat Arora, the writer of the film, and Emraan recently had met in a five star hotel to discuss some things about the film and when they were leaving the hotel at the reception they bumped into Azharuddin.
Azhar greeted Emraan warmly and told him to play his role well on screen.
Azharuddin said, "Do the part well. And when you start rehearsing the cricketing shots, I will make it a point to be around to cue you in."
Balaji's CEO, Tanuj Garg, confirmed the news and said, "Yes, while leaving the hotel after a script narration on the biopic, Emraan did bump into Azhar."
Few days ago, there were reports that Emraan won’t be doing the biopic. But, this news confirms that he is still doing the film.
