What makes Emraan Hashmi’s con story worth it.

With Raja Natwarlal, Emraan Hashmi is back to playing colourful characters with a twist — something that the audience enjoys watching him do.

The actor plays a suave conman in the film, which also marks the debut of Pakistani actress Humaima Malick. And from the promos and songs, it's evident that the two share a good chemistry, which is further heightened by Emraan's signature liplocks. The film sees him team up with director KunalDeshmukh for the fourth time.

Besides the love angle, another relationship takes centre stage in the story — the mentor-protege relationship between Raja (Emraan) and his guru, played by Paresh Rawal. A master con artist, Paresh takes him under his wing to pull off the biggest con ever against the formidable villain Varda, played by Kay Kay Menon.
The drama is spiced up with some cracker dialogues by the lead actors. Sample these, "Khulti usi ki hai jo khelta hai" and "Bachaana woh seekhta hai jo zyada kamaana nahi jaanta".
And as is with an 'Emraan Hashmi' film, music plays a crucial part. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja pairs up with Arijit Singh for the popular track Tere Hoke Rahengay, with Mika on the tapori number Dukki Tikki and Benny Dayal on the street dance track Flip Your Collar Back.

Says Kunal, "This is my best directorial venture and Emraan steps back in the avatar that people love him in. This revenge drama of a conman from the streets taking on the mightiest crook, with the help of his mentor, is a first-of-its-kind."
Raja Natwarlal, produced by UTV Motion Pictures, releases today.
