Choreographer-director Remo D’souzawho surprised everybody with the sleeper hit ‘ABCD: AnyBody Can Dance’ is set to direct again. He has signedEmraan Hashmi for a musical thriller titled Badtameez,which will be produced by Varun Bajaj.TOI can also report that Hashmi will be seenplaying the role of a rockstar in the film, that goeson floors in the latter half of next year, afterRemo is done filming the ABCD sequel. Says asource close to the development, “Emraan andRemo wanted to team up for a project sincea very long time. The idea of ‘Badtameez’got the actor really excited, and he came onboard. The deal was closed on Sunday.”When contacted, Remo, who wasleaving for Dubai, confirmed the newssaying, “Emraan will be seen playinga flamboyant rockstar. It’s a mischievouscharacter, quite similar to his reallife image. There will be many dancenumbers for which he will have to attendsome workshops. As of now,we are working on his look.”‘Badtameez’ will also havemany scenes of rock concerts.The dance tracks will be choreographedby Remo. The film willhave a strong romantic angle andthe hunt for a leading lady is on.
