'Emraan Hashmi' The new youth passion!

Photo
He doesn’t have greek-god looks nor is he the brawny stud types and yet has kudis, kisses and steamy bedroom kissas! Some action for a modest 2-year-old career! We have no clue how the boy-next-door Emraan Hashmi has caught the imagination of the entire nation. Emraan has turned hot property in Bollywood.
The actor has his hands full with many big banner projects that include Subhash Ghai’s Good Boy Bad Boy, Aditya Datt’s Dil Diya Hai and Sanjay Gupta’s Shoot Out at Lokhandwala. His lover boy image and not-to-forget the smooches showered onscreen have acted as a pro for him. All his films Zeher, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Kalyug and Aksar have done decent business.
Gangster's" success has turned Mahesh Bhatt's blue-eyed boy into one of the most sought after newcomers. Producers are offering him hefty sums and sources say he has entered the 'million' bracket. The actor has been offered a whopping amount for his next film. The buzz is that producer Shyam Bajaj (Aksar, Blackmail) who is soon set to start his next venture has signed Emraan Hashmi for a gigantic fee of Rs 80 lakhs. Now that is quite an achievement for Emraan considering the time he has spent in Bollywood. Sources also say that the actor was offered a higher remuneration of Rs 81 lakhs for another movie by another filmmaker. But Emraan rejected the proposal because he didn’t want to do too many films at a time.
Well we guess, with offers like this Emraan doesn’t need to hurry on his signing spree. Not only that, Bollywood's kissing king is also posing a threat to bigwigs and the talk in trade circles is that no movie should be released along with his film. Emraan Hashmi best new images 10
Going by past record - whether it was the multi-starrer "Tango Charlie" that came opposite "Zeher" or "Ek Ajnabi" released with "Kalyug" or the most recent "Mistress Of Spices" and "Darna Zaroori Hai" that has clashed with "Gangster" - all faced a bad reception when competing against Emraan starrers.
And now with "Gangster", Emraan gets the multiplex audience as well. What makes him popular is his ability to reach out to the masses, his intangible charm that has women swooning over him and his phenomenal luck with music. And that's the reason we decided to probe his success story and who better to analyze it than Anurag Basu who directed him in Murder and Gangster? Emraan Hashmi best new images 13
Basu has a simple logic to explain the actor’s success. "Emraan is not in love with himself like most other stars are and he's an easy performer. Secondly, success hasn't gone to his head; he's still the same down-to-earth guy, but his acting has improved by leaps and bounds since his Murder days. And music composers make an extra attempt when they have to compose music for Emraan," says Anurag.
It is easy for the youth to accept him because he comes across as someone who does not try to hard.

"Gangster" has surely catapulted him to the star status. Big banners are lining up outside his house and he has bagged a few prestigious projects. The actor himself said once in a interview “You'd rather be different and be criticized than doing the same thing and be praised” it surely has worked well for emraan.
