Recently, Emraan Hashmi was seen at an event that displayed art by underprivileged children, where the actor said that it’s the songs of his films that perhaps helped to connect him with the kids. However, the actor hopes children don’t watch his films, for the obvious reasons.
“It’s kind of surprising to see such fan following from kids. But I hope they don’t watch my films. I am sure it’s probably a connect from music of my films through television, radio and other mediums. Because in many small cities my songs are played in radios so there is certain connection from there,” said Emraan.
Speaking about the event, he said, “The cause is really noble and I have always connected well with kids! When you have your own child, the connection tends to strengthen. I have believed that all of us in our childhood times, have wanted to become a part of an art form and if parents or guardians do not push it ahead, it stiffens it and the talent does not progress,” he added further.
Talking about his son, Emraan said, “My son loves painting. He is just 3 years old now, so he does all scribbling at home rather on walls. (laughs) Toh thodasa problem ho gaya hai. But he is a better artist than I was.”
