Mahesh Bhatt feels Emraan Hashmi’s Mr X is as good a superhero as Amitabh Bachchan’s Shehenshah and Anil Kapoor’s Mr India!

There are some iconic larger-than-life heroes in Bollywood. One can never forget Amitabh Bachchan in his Shehenshah avatar, Anil Kapoor in his Mr India avatar as a common man transformed himself into a world-saving hero with the help of a gadget. The latest character to join this list of larger-than-life heroes is Mr X starring Emraan Hashmi. Emraan plays a cop who turns into an invisible man and takes the law in his hand only to protect it. His powers of invisibility help him to not only save his life from villains who want him dead at any cost to protect a sinister plan but Mr X also uses his power to help people and save the day by eradicating people breaking laws just because they are men of power.

Mahesh Bhatt says, “Emraan’s character is dynamic. He is uncontrolled but finds a lot of responsibility when he discovers how he can channelise his power for the greater good. He chooses to use his powers to save the day than using his invisibility for evil, menacing needs. He takes the law in his hand but is truly incorruptable. Mr X is a family entertainer in 3D and his invisibility in 3D is the biggest larger-than-life experience that the audiences will have. Invisibility is a very cool power to have and audiences have always had a fascination for larger-than-life heroes and we are excited to see the response from them for Mr X in 3D.”

Produced by Vishesh Films, Mr X is being presented by Fox Star Studios. The film releases on April 17.
