Emraan Hashmi will soon be seen essaying the role of an invisible ATS officer in Vikram Bhatt’s upcoming sci-fi thriller, Mr X, which is loosely based on the popular American film, Hallow Man. This is the first time Emraan has forayed into such a genre. But that’s not all that’s new! The actor now wants to do away with his ‘serial kisser’ tag.
While promoting his film, the Raja Natwarlal actor said, “Kissing is the most done thing right now for me. Every actor is doing it nowadays. So, it can’t be a kind of ‘X’ factor for me.” Emraan further added, “Now, I guess newcomers will be less intimidated to work with me and they would know that family audience could watch it. So as I posed for so many (intimate) scenes (in past films), there are only a couple of them in this one.”
Looks like the actor wants to shake off his ‘A-certified’ image to cater to a larger audience. But will he be able to get rid of it? Well, time will tell!
Mr. X, which also stars Amyra Dastur and Arunoday Singh, will release on April 17.
