The film stars Emraan Hashmi and Amyra Dastur, and is a modern adaptation of Mr. India.Emraan Hashmi will be seen as Dr. Vikram Sinhal / X and Amyra Dastur as Milli Arora.Emraan Hashmi and Amyra Dastur starring movie Mr. X was announced in October 2013.
Ankit Tiwari and Jeet ganguly are roped in for Music. The principal photography of the film began. The filming was set to shoot in South Africa but due to the illness of Hashmi's son, the production shifted the shooting location to Mumbai.
