Mohammad Azharuddin’s son Asad to the rescue of Emraan Hashmi

Actor Emraan Hashmi it seems is leaving no stone unturned in getting to learn the nuances of his character in the upcoming biopic based on the life of Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. Emraan, who will be seen essaying the role of the stylish former batsman, is reported to have left for Sydney to witness the ongoing Test match between India and Australia, live. The purpose of the actor’s visit is to get the feel of things as to how the cricketers react and maintain their composure in the midst of thousands of fan cheering for them.

And now, with the visit to the cricket field not being enough, the actor is taking further tips on Azharuddin’s batting style, from the cricketer’s 24 year old son, Asad Azharuddin. The young lad, apart from Azharuddin’s batting style, will be teaching the actor some of his father’s famous cricketing shots, include the wrist shot.

Asad, following his father’s footsteps, has taken to cricket and is playing for Uttar Pradesh team. Unlike Mohammad Azharuddin, Asad is a left-hander and is said to be quite similar to his father, when it comes to stylish batting. We are sure that the young lad will prove to be of great help to Emraan Hashmi for getting the body language of his character right.
