Emraan Hashmi-Humaima Mallik Bond Over Sufi Music On ‘Raja Natwarlal’ Sets

Emraan Hashmi and Humaima Mallik, who will be next seen starring opposite each other in Kunal Deshmukh’s con caper ‘Raja Natwarlal’, seem to have got along like a house on fire over their shared love for Sufi music.
Being from Pakistan, Humaima is quite knowledgeable about Sufi music whereas Emraan, whose films are famously known for Sufi music and slow melodies, is also quite fond of the genre. It was but natural that the two discovered their shared love for Sufi music and bonded over it. The duo spoke about Sufism even when they were shooting in South Africa.
Says director Kunal Deshmukh, “Emraan and Humaima bonded over Sufism, while a Sufi song was being shot in Cape Town. Humaima also invited Emraan to Pakistan and promised to introduce him to Sufi songs by local artistes over there.”
Raja Natwarlal is slated for release on August 29th 2014.
