When will these films breathe?

This Karan Johar-Ekta Kapoor film was announced with a novel lead cast of Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Initially scheduled to start last November, the movie was reportedly postponed and the delay was attributed to reworking on the script. After buzz that the two actors were opting out of it, it was reported that the movie would feature newcomers. KJo has been quoted saying that the project has not been stalled and they're just taking a break for a few months.

Sanjay Dutt plays the protagonist inspired by Gujarati gangster Sharman Munjha. The Soham Shah directorial, also featuring Vivek Oberoi, Prachi Desai and Karishma Tanna, couldn't be completed as the producers ran into major financial troubles. Last heard, the authorities were auctioning properties of the production house owners to recover unpaid dues.

#Ugly

Anurag Kashyap's psychological thriller with Ronit Roy, Rahul Bhatt, Tejaswini Kolhapure and Siddhant Kapoor among others, was initially scheduled to release on October 11, last year. However, due to the filmmaker's disagreement with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) over the anti-smoking disclaimer, the release of Ugly has been put on hold. Interestingly, Kashyap took this stand after Hollywood legend Woody Allen refused to release his film Blue Jasmine for the same reason.
