Hashmi looking forward to four releases in 2014

Forever known as being a blue eyed boy of Bhatts, Emraan Hashmi has gradually progressed to avoid the trap being attached to any particular camp and making a place for himself. The results may have been mixed but while the year gone by has seen him work with UTV (GHANCHAKKAR) and Balaji (EK THI DAAYAN), 2014 is looking all the more exciting, what with varied films with different filmmakers.
'He has as many as many as four films lined up for release this year and each of these is with a different banner,' informs an insider, 'There is SHAATIR [UTV], UNGLEE [Dharma], HAMARI ADHURI KAHAANI [Vishesh Films] and WHITE LIES [Anurag Kashyap and others]. It is clear that he is not following any camp.'

This is also ensuring that he isn't trapped in being a part of similar stage, set up and milieu with varied production houses allowing him the flexibility to jump in and out of different characterization and target audience.
'It definitely gives you certain sense of confidence and belief in yourself that you can do hard work and make your choices,' says Emraan who is looking at a mighty eventful 2014 ahead, 'There is an audience out there which wants to see you in different roles. If I am able to manage that, there would be definite sense of victory and accomplishment.'
