Newbie Alisa Kkhan, numerology and all, made her debut with the B-grade “My Husband’s Wife,” and is now pepped about her second film “Aaaina,” wherein she is paired opposite Emraan Hashmi. The film is produced by Vikram Bhatt.
Which star is on her wish-list? Says Kkhan, who belongs to the lineage of Mohammad Nawab Ghaziauddin Khan, after whom the town of Ghaziabad is named, says that she would love to work with Saif Ali Khan. “We are two nawabs in Hindi cinema, and it would be great to work together!” she explains.
Kkhan has been involved in spats right from her first film — a lesbian attack from her co-star Rakhi Vohra to lashing out at people who compared her to the likes of Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra. “I want to be a top actress like Priyanka Chopra,” she declares.
Well, now. The first thing she will have to do is correct her spelling. “Khan” spells magic in our cinema, not “Kkhan!”
