When it was announced that Ekta Kapoor is keen on making a film on the life of cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin, the international cricketer was quizzed on who according to him would suit the role. This is what he had said then: “He needs to be stylish as people tell me my game was very stylish. Allah gave me the talent and I became stylish over time.” He further added,“Saif Ali Khan, due to his cricketing background and style, would be my first choice, but Ekta is the boss and will decide.”
And now, if sources are to be believed, the “boss” has made up her mind. That’s right! Reliable sources have revealed that Ekta wants Emraan Hashmi to play the role, and the actor has agreed too!
Apparently, Emraan recently told a friend in Cape Town while shooting for his upcoming film ‘Raja Natwarlal’, that he was extremely excited to play one of cricket’s biggest icons. Well, it seems that Emraan will play Azhar if things go as per Ekta’s plans, and Emmi boy may soon be seen taking cricketing lessons to get into Azhar’s shoes.
